Approximately 60 PhD students from WWSC, Luleå University of Technology and Åko Akademi, Finland will visit UPSC.
UPSC staff are especially encouraged to participate in the session between 14:00-15:00 to learn more about our guest's research and what they do, but of course also the first hour of talks is open to UPSC staff. The guided tours are reserved for Research School visitors only.

Do you want to know which career paths are waiting for you outside of academia? Then listen to Janina Leinberger from Qiagen – Düsseldorf.
Janina Leinberger is working as an R&D Scientist with a special focus on the microbiome at Qiagen in Düsseldorf. Her background is in the field of microbiology. Before switching to industry Janina finished her Ph.D. at Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg. Janina will share her career path from academia to industry and introduce us to the process of becoming an R&D scientist with a molecular biology background. You will have the opportunity to ask questions and participate in a networking lunch afterwards.
